The Dong-a Ilbo reports on rampant abduction of more than 100 Chinese girls by Korean swindlers (those agents engaged in recruiting personnel) from villages in Mukden, Manchukuo on August 31, 1939. Police investigators have been immediately dispatched to Mukden from Busan, Korea. Notes: 1.The Dong-A Ilbo (literally East Asia Daily) is the leading newspaper in Korea, established in 1920, 10 years after Japan-Korean annexation. 2. The Great Empire of Manchuria was established in 1932 and continued to exist until 1945.
Regarding some girls cheated into "comfort women" by some swindlers, Mr. Hiroo Onoda states; I often heard that on the Korean peninsula there were swindlers triking girls into prostitution. I really feel sorry for those girls who were scammed by those swindlers. Some frauds cheated girls into working as prostitutes by telling them that they would become"war nurses" while some girls cheated soldiers and non-commissioned officers into paying "surcharge" by telling them "I am a graduate of girls high school." There were quite few soldiers who trusted what those girls told them.

The following video uploaded on October 6, 2009 suggests how much freedom the people living in Japan have enjoyed whether they are majority or not. I doubt that the government of People's Republic of China, the government of South Korea and the government of North Korea will allow any Japanese to criticize their governments as much as Japan does in the following video. If they criticize this much, they get arrested for whatever crimes they will make up. They don't get arrested or anything at all here in Japan even if they speak up loudly only for the benefits of the Korean peninsula and China, based on the stories fabricated in the last decades. Besides, they are all speaking as if to say that their countries have been innocent victims in every respect. But remember, just to cite one recent example, South Korea dispatched a large number of soldiers to Viet Nam and viciously killed many Vietnamese.The People's Republic of China invaded Tibet, not to mention atrocities repeatedly executed not only in Tibet but also in the other areas by the People's Republic of China in the last decades. Thus, many Japanese are finding this video so aggravating to them as long as their comments on this video are concerned. I suppose that the program was televised before the general election of the lower house was carried out on August 30, 2009. Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: An article 9 (See note below) of the post war constitution of Japan ends with "We shall not initiate wars and we shall not kill--". However, I consider it wrong. It should be written in such a manner as to express "We shall not kill anybody even if we are killed." In other words, the article 9 should be written to bind the Japanese people not to use any violence no matter what violence they might go through.

Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: Yes, that’s right. They must show their absolute determination not to use any violence, thereby securing some sort of guarantee that they will not get any bashing. Without such a firm determination, they will for sure kill people. I really think they need such a determination no matter what happens.

Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: No matter what happens, they should not kill anybody. This is the determination they need for sure.
Ms. Chinatsu Nakayama said: As long as violence occurs out of self-defense, it can be justified. This is a concept introduced into Japan by USA.
Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: USA has kept killing people out of self-defense. Every war starts out of self-defense. And, they make profits out of killing people. They consider it good for economy.
Ms. Chinatsu Nakayama said: Our generation gives the second thought to anything profitable but the young generation doesn't care about anything at all as long as they make profits. The present society might regard wars as being acceptable for the profits they generate.

You know what it means. Japan's Prime Minister visits Yasukuni Shrine where he renews his determination not to initiate wars while he holds a position of being the commander-in-chief of Self-Defense Forces. I think he is inconsistent in every respect. I don't want our Prime Minister to make any contradictions.
Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: A proposal on revision made by the Liberal Democratic Party sounds so ridiculous because it says "We will not fight but we possess weapons."
Mr.Kikuya Matsuzaki said: The Liberal Democratic Party has never said a word about the contradiction I have just pointed out.
Ms. Chinatsu Nakayama said: I don't want to say this but Japan is getting to be like US where everyone defends oneself with weapons. This is the trend observed here.
Mr.Kikuya Matsuzaki said: They say "Since our constitution was prepared by US, we should remake it. This is an idea behind what they are doing now." If that is the case, I believe that Japan should produce Constitution better than the one made by US.
Ms. Chinatsu Nakayama said: Onlookers (US, etc.) can read the game better than the players themselves (Japanese). So, there is a case in which one prepared by others is better than the other prepared by the Japanese.
Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: From my perspective, I should say that Japan has not observed even the current Constitution. I will never expect that Japan will observe a new constitution even a bit, if approved based on the proposal made by the Liberal Democratic Party. When reading through the LDP proposal, I realize that all the Japanese have finally accepted the same status as Korean citizens in Japan. What I mean by this is that all the Japanese will lose every right they have so far enjoyed once they approve of a new constitution. In other words, they will become subject to the control by the Government of Japan. This is similar to the conditions we Korean citizens in Japan have been placed in. We are not going to attain a status of the Japanese but they will attain the same status as we have had or the same as a minority group. Then, what will happen to us? Our status will remain still unchanged.
Mr.Kikuya Matsuzaki said: Not becoming equal.
Ms. Kei Ishizaka said: Then, they might say "Wait a minute!"
Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: They might say "We are Koreans from today!"
Mr. Rokusuke Ei said: If I were US Government, I would not let you come into US.
Ms. Chinatsu Nakayama said: You are going to US soon, aren't you? US has tightened its immigration control.
Ms. Shin Sukuoku said: Since 9/11, it is very difficult to enter USA. Some have been rejected at ports.

Ms. Kei Ishizaka said: Speaking about Prime Minister Koizumi, I just can’t understand him well because he keeps saying you can understand my visit to Ysukumi Shrine once we discuss about it. As a half of my family members are Chinese citizens, I have some good understanding of their feelings. No way for the Chinese to understand Yasukuni Shrine at all. Just imagine US has A-bomb festival once in a year during which US President opens a bottle of champagne and says "Cheers!" after making a speech like "A-bomb helped us shorten the war although many people were killed. I highly appreciate it as a great scientific achievement." How do you think the people in Japan react to it? The Japanese people would not like it. This is how much Chinese, Koreans, and other Asian people hate Yasukuni Shrine. I really feel sorry for Koizumi because of his failure to understand our feelings and of his arrogance. My Comments:
Many viewers, I suppose they are Japanese, regard this video as aggravating and suspect that they are engaged in anti-Japan operations, trying to brainwash the people into thinking that Japan has been an evil state while both Koreas and China are so perfect and just totally innocent.
Some viewers even propose that Japan should have a law that will protect Japan against their excessive abuse of resources here as those Korean citizens, Chinese citizens, etc. in Japan have been granted special privileges. (See 在日特権 at http://bit.ly/9S4eD8 )
Many view those Korean citizens, Chinese citizens, etc. in Japan as hypocrites since they try to propagate an idea of “The Japanese must die without resisting or they must not kill anybody even if they are killed.” However, they fail to mention the following atrocities they have committed at all. Just a few are listed below.
1.During the period of January 18, 1952 (date of unilateral establishment of Syngman Rhee Line) to June 22, 1965 (signing date of Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea), 328 Japanese fishing vessels were captured and 3,929 fishermen were abducted by South Korea. 2.Korean Citizens committed all types of atrocities in Japan soon after Japan declared acceptance of Potsdam Declaration on August 15, 1945.

Before reading the article below, watch this video, in which you find almost the same story as the one I posted on November 11, 2010 (see the post down below "Just a Rumor but One of the Japan Coast Guard Officers Dead") tells us that two Japan Coast Guard officers have been dead.
Two women politicians are raising questions over the attitudes demonstrated by Democratic Party of Japan.
Major points they are making in this video are as follows:
1. None of the cabinet members has ever visited Yasukuni Shrine in which those who died for Japan are enshrined. Thus, no one can expect Japan to have the moral high ground and to enhance security. Whatever historical perspectives they might have, the politicians who can't express gratitude in acknowledgement of their devotions and show due respect to those who served the country and died for the country are not qualified to run the Government.
2.The Kan cabinet who has shown neither will nor determination to protect the people's livelihood, our national honor, our sovereignty, and our territory must resign immediately or dissolve the Lower House.
3. A question over why the Kan cabinet has refused to release the full video footage showing the Senkaku Incident of September 7, 2010.
4. A question over the rumor that the Japan Coast Guard officers who went aboard the Chinese trawler were pushed into the sea and were harpooned to death by the Chinese crews.
5. An unidentified man's remarks on the rumor: The full video footage shows two officers who jumped over to the Chinese trawler to arrest the Chinese crews were pushed into the sea while the Chinese crews were resisting arrest. The collision scene shown in the footage released by Japan Coast Guard officer shows in fact the Chinese trawler not ramming the Japan Coast Guard ship but trying to kill two officers swimming desperately at the sea.

Just a Rumor but One of the Japan Coast Guard Officers Dead
Three photos possibly depicting death of the Japan Coast Guard officer have been uploaded with the comments in Japanese.
It appears that an officer working at Ishigaki Office of the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture has been dead.
Three photos taken at 15:30 on November 6 clearly show front part of a Japanese wooden coffin loaded on a van, men in funeral costumes waiting for the doors to be opened next to the van carrying a wooden coffin on and Japan Coast Guard Patrol vessel Mizuki with a mourning band (collided by the Chinese trawler on September 7).

The above photos with comments in Japanese may prove that the rumor described below is not just a rumor but a fact.
The rumor in question:
There has been a rumor going on that when arresting Chinese trawler captain, one of the coast guard officers was pushed into the sea and was harpooned by the captain resisting the arrest while desperately swimming by the Chinese trawler. The rumor further says that the officer recently died of the wounds he had suffered when harpooned by the Chinese trawler captain.
If the death of the officer is true and it is related to the arrest of the Chinese trawler captain, one could easily assume that this is the only reason why Kan Administration has been refusing to make public the rest of 3 hrs and 30 min videos.

Japan's recent row with China over the arrest of fishing boat captain has mainly resulted from China's desire to control good fising areas and potential reserves of oil and gas in and around Senkaku Islands. (Potential gas & oil reserves in & around Senkaku Islands are estimated to match with those in Iraq. However, it has not been confirmed yet. ).
Up until the report on potential gas & oil reseves in Senkaku Islands was made by UN organ in 1972, nobody cared about those islands.
Senkaku Islands were delcared to be part of Japan in Jan. 14, 1895 after full investigation conducted between 1885 & 1895 by the Japanese government to comfirm that they never belonged to any nation at all.
China & Taiwan now insist that Japan forcibly took over those islands when Treaty of Shimonoseki was signed on http://bit.ly/9Zvafr April 17, 1895. Howerver, Japan declared those islands to be part of Japan on Jan., 14, 1895.
Japan has effectively controlled the islands since then. During US occupation era, some intrusions into the islands by Taiwanese but were expelled by the then Okinawa government.
Not too many people are aware that China approved of National Mobilization Law on February 26, 2010, which we find quite similar to Old Imperial Japan's National Mobilization Law enacted in 1938 in preparation for the total war by the first Konoe Cabinet.
This law went into effect on July 1, 2010. One implication we must focus on is that Chinese nationals wherever they are now could turn into operatives who may carry out whatever they are ordered to do by Beijing government.
The ruling party Democratic Party of Japan has so far created the environment which allows the Chinese nationals to easily visit Japan by easing visa restrictions, etc.
It is said that every week about 500 Chinese nationals (some Chinese with false documents) come to Japan not as tourists but to settle down here. Some of them apply for the governmental aid similar to U.S. temporary assistance for needy families.
Some say that those Chinese nationals not only in Japan but spreading all over the world may turn out to become Peoples' Liberation Army soldiers whenever Beijing orders them to be in accordance with the National Mobilization Law.

Mayor of Nagoya city Mr. Takashi Kawamura stated that the Government has a final say on the sale of national property. However, local governments have an authority over the use of land. Since China intruded into Japan's territorial waters around SenkakuIslands, our citizens will never let the central government sell our first grade land to China. I have repeatedly requested the Democratic Party of Japan to give due attention to the matter and to freeze it. And then, Tokai Regional Bureau, the Ministry of Finance has frozen it upon the submission of the petition.
The general public in Japan considers the expansion of land space for Chinese Consulate-General as one step to invade Japan and finds it unacceptable, observing the recent Chinese moves in building up its military might and offensive actions taken against not only Japan but also other Asian nations.
43 years old Japan Coast Guard Officer has been suspended for the violation of confidentiality agreement under the National Civil Service Law of Japan.He courageously stepped forward and admitted that he had leaked 43 minutes video footage showing the crucial moments of the Chinese trawler intentionally attacking the Japan Coast Guard ships.
He leaked it only when every officer working at the Japan Coast Guard was able to access it and after the People's Republic of China demanded that Japan apologize and pay compensation for the seizure of the trawler and its crew. More importantly, he leaked it out because Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr. Sengoku desperately insisted that any part of the video footage remain confidential and be kept secret from the general public for the reasons still unknown.
The suspended officer earlier submitted a letter of resignation to the Japan Coast Guard. But it was not accepted for the reason that the Japan Coast Guard was in a process of punishing the man with either dismissal or suspension.
The majority of the general public feels sympathetic to the officer, expressing anger and frustration over the Kan Cabinet in favor of a very strict punishment, who has ignored its failure to properly deal with the violation of Japan's territorial waters and obstruction of the official duties by the Chinese fishing boat.
The Kan Cabinet is still refusing to release the entire video footage, in which the Chinese trawler captain could be shown committing some serious criminal offense against the Japan Coast Guard officers and their ships.
The Kan Cabinet reportedly has been so disappointed by the decision made not to arrest the officer over the breach of confidentiality agreement under the National Civil Service Law of Japan.

Congratulations on the happy occasion of having received Nobel Peace Prize! And, we really wish to see Mr. Liu Xiaobo freed from the imprisonment. Senkaku Islands are legally part of Japan as China recognized this fact before. You are prohibited to enter our territory. Therefore, we will never let you invade our territory. We strongly demand that China will not invade Senkaku Islands again.
You Chinese must realize how much you have been hated all over in Asia. We never let China invade Senkaku Islands. We will fight against the Chinese militarism all the way.
Note: Many feel that the Government of Japan has been conducting some control over the mass media not to report this kind of activities against China because exposure to news report on protests against China has been so much limited.

My comments:
The winners of WWII shaped United Nations and its security council in 1945 when two nations and their few allies lost the war. Two nations were Japan and Germany who later grew up to be the major economic powers while the Soviet Union, one of the five permanent seats at the UN Security Council became defunct on December 8, 1991 and whose permanent membership has been automatically transferred to Russia.
The People's Republic of China currently holds a permanent seat at the Security Council but it was previously held by the Republic of China (ROC) until November 23, 1971. Taiwan (who represented the Chinese people since the UN's founding in 1945) no longer represents at the organ.
We all know that WWII ended in 1945, 65 years ago. Now when we face the drastically changed geopolitical realities, we still try to resolve the international disputes with the same old system handed down to us from our predecessors. Yet only five permanent member nations still enjoy all the benefits of veto power regardless of what they have developed into now.

Korean Coast Guard has reportedly decided to strengthen its patrol in EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone) in the Yellow Sea where the Chinese fishing boat sank after ramming a 3,000 tones South Korean coast guard ship Saturday, leaving one crew member dead and another missing. However, the famous spokeswoman of the People's Republic of China has so far kept herself quite on the incident as she was so loud a few months ago when the Chinese trawler attacked the Japanese Coast Guard ship in Japan's territorial waters near Senkaku islands. However, they were simply trying to cooperate with China in disposing of the chemical weapons left unused by the Imperial Japanese Army (a project to be executed at Japan's expenses based upon the agreement between Japan and China).
A number of the similar incidents of violating the international laws we have observed in the past prove that China practices illegal fishing in the foreign waters and approves of the internationally illegal activities routinely carried out by the Chinese fishermen.
The Japan Coast Guard has been indecisive on disciplinary action against 43 years old Coast Guard officer who stepped forward and admitted the release of the videos showing what really happened in Japan's territorial waters near Senkaku islands when the Chinese trawler captain intentionally attacked the Japan Coast Guard vessels.
The National Police Agency will reportedly submit the case to the Prosecutor's office soon, in which he allegedly breached the confidentiality agreement under the National Civil Service Law of Japan. Upon the submission of the case, the Japan Coast Guard will finalize its difficult decision on the disciplinary action against him.
95% of the general public supports his heroic action in which he released the videos out of his sense of justice when Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr. Sengoku insisted that those videos be kept confidential for the reason still unknown to the general public (Note: This is one of the major reasons why he has been regarded as a traitor along with Prime Minister Mr. Kan).
The opinion poll shows that 98% wants the Government of Japan to make the entire videos (about 3 hours long) public.
There is a rumor that a Japan Coast Guard officer was pushed into the sea and was harpooned to death by the Chinese trawler captain whom the Japan Coast Guard caught for the charge of obstructing official duties and later had to release him with charges still pending(It sounds like fishing in rivers and lakes. Catch and Release Fishing!).
The Japan Coast Guard officer may face a disciplinary action against him while a Chinese fish was caught and released without any harm at all, enjoying his reputation of gaining a victory over Japan.

Two Chinese patrol ships equipped with machine guns and some anti-aircraft capacity trying to intrude into Japan's territorial waters near Senkaku Islands left the area at 6 PM, JST today.
Japan Coast Guard repeated its warning that they should not enter Japan's territorial waters. The closest they got to Japan's territorial waters was 600 meters. Responding to the repeated warning, they said "We are legally controlling Senkaku Islands". They remained in the area for about 34 hours.
The Chinese patrol ships have showed up five times after Senkaku Incident on September 7, 2010.
I think that since they try to get close to Japan's territorial waters, U.S.,Japan's ally has every reason to deploy U.S. navy in the Yellow Sea even after or even if the current Korean crisis is over.

While I was watching it, I got an impression that The Wall Street Juarnal is sided with the People's Republic of China as far as the dispute over Senkaku Islands is concerned.

The People's Republic of China opened up its 6th Consulate-General in multi-tenant building, Niigata city, Niigata Prefecture, Japan on June, 2010 after its failure to secure a location on Okinawa. The multi-tenant building houses not only Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China but also Consulate-General of the Russian Federation.
Since Okinawa is considered strategically quite sensitive, there are only four nations (U.S.A., Philippines, Brazil and Peru) that maintain their Consulate-Generals there.
When Liberal Democratic Party was in power on March last year, China made a proposal to establish its Consulate-General on Okinawa. However, it was rejected for the reason that China would possibly place its military and intelligence personnel to monitor Senkaku islands, etc.
In August this year only two months after 6th Chinese Consulate-General in Japan was opened, China has begun to negotiate with Niigata City government on purchasing rather large land for building its own Consulate-General compound near Niigata railway station.
Coupled with this move, China has already proposed a plan to establish China town in Niigata city.
Local people of Niigata city have raised a number of questions over those moves made by China. Mr. K. Umehara insists that Niigata city should examine the case Sendai city experienced before deciding on whether to accept the construction of China town combined with Chinese Consulate-General.
Sendai City had almost accepted the proposal to construct China town near Chinese Consulate-General before Mr. K. Umehara became Mayor of Sendai City.
Mr. K. Umehara successfully turned down the plan as soon as he was elected as Mayor. He based his rejection of the plan on the reasons listed below.
1. Chinese investment fund aims at constructing China town in the area of 15,000 square meters where they plan to open 200 shops with 800 Chinese employees (Chinese nationals), thereby establishing its stronghold within Japan for intelligence activities and subsequent invasion into Japan.
2. Miyagi Prefectural Police Headquarter reports that Chinese have committed 70% of all the crimes under its jurisdiction.
3. The Chinese investment fund is reported to have non-performing loans.
4. China town next to or close to Consulate-General suggests that if a Chinese living in there commits any crimes, all he or she has to do is to run to Consulate-General compound nearby for safety since there exists extraterritoriality even criminal suspects are entitled to benefit from within the compound. We should note that Japan and China have not yet concluded extradition agreement.
Note: China towns we are talking about here are not like those established in Yokohama, Kobe and Nagasaki a long ago by the Chinese immigrants. They are the towns to be established by the People's Republic of China.
Besides, Chinese are buying up a lot of water resources, real estate, etc. in Japan.

Yahoo News Japan reports that Japanese Ambassador to Norway has not so far made it clear whether he will attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to be held on December 10 in Oslo for jailed Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo.
The Embassy of Japan in Norway has not yet received any instruction on his attendance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo.
It is reported that China has been demanding that European and Asian countries not attend the ceremony. Beijing has called Liu "a criminal" and accused the Norwegian Nobel Committee of desecrating the prestigious prize by honoring him.
I don't see why it takes so much time to decide on the attendance of the Japanese Ambassador to the ceremony as the Japanese ambassadors always participated in the prestigious prize awarding ceremony with other free nations.

TV programs here in Japan are now focused on whether criminality of a Japan Coast Guard officer working as a navigator of the patrol boat who stepped forward and admitted that he had leaked out 44 minutes videos of Senkaku Islands Incident via YouTube can be established.
One possible charge against Japan's national hero is a breach of confidentiality agreement under the National Employees Law.
However, the heated discussions are going on over the two factors that constitute a breach of confidentiality agreement every national employee in Japan has to abide by under Article 100, National Employees Law. They are as follows.
1. Whether information and data were already made public before their leakage or not.
2. Whether their confidentiality must be protected.
As for the first factor, 6 minutes version of the Senkaku Islands Incident was shown to the limited number of politicians before leakage of 44 minutes version. And, Japan Coast Guard has long practiced disclosures of videos in which their activities are recorded, to improve their interactions with the general public.
It is reported that Japan Coast Guard was ready to make the whole videos public a day after the incident occurred. For some reasons, they did not show them to the public.
The second factor of whether those videos must be kept confidential or not is quite debatable in consideration of the reasons listed below.
1. Those videos were already shown to the Japanese politicians.
2. Japan has been strongly condemned by China over the arrest of the fishing boat captain. To protect Japan's interest, the Government of Japan should have made those videos public as practiced during the Administrations controlled by Liberal Democratic Party.
3. China has taken a number of retaliatory actions against Japan as evidenced in the arrest of four Japanese nationals said to be spying in the restricted area where the Government of Japan has been in a process of treating chemical weapons left unused by the Old Imperial Japanese Army based upon the agreement between Japan and China.
China also has embargoed export of rare earths to Japan.
4. The general public has a right to know what really happened around Senkaku Islands when Japan has been strongly criticized by China and her people.

The rumor in question:
There has been a rumor going on that when arresting Chinese trawler captain, one of the coast guard officers was pushed into the sea and was harpooned by the captain resisting the arrest while desperately swimming by the Chinese trawler. The rumor further says that the officer recently died of the wounds he had suffered when harpooned by the Chinese trawler captain.
If the death of the officer is true and it is related to the arrest of the Chinese trawler captain, one could easily assume that this is the only reason why Kan Administration has been refusing to make public the rest of 3 hrs and 30 min videos.
An officer, 5th Regional Headquarters, the Japan Coast Guard Agency who leaked out the 44 minutes videos of Senkaku Islands Incident in which China clearly violated the international laws and the existing laws of Japan will be reportedly arrested soon for the charge of violating confidentiality agreement under Article 100 of the National Employees' Law of Japan.
The Kan Administration will most probably face a debacle if the suspect now regarded as a national hero is actually arrested for the charge the National Police Agency has so far identified in the case of leaking out the 44 minutes videos of Senkaku Islands Incident.
