I have chosen one tweet made by a Japanese politician Mr. Taro Kono, a member of the Liberal Democratic Party (major opposition party).

Here is a tentative translation of the tweet.

When members of  the Democratic Party of Japan (ruling party) are running around all over, making a lot of noise、shouting "What are we going to do if our party breaks up?",　Mr. Yamauchi, a member of Your Party (opposition party whose seats at the upper house of the Japanese parliament increased to 11 in the last election from 1.) told them "Don't worry! We have a breakup manual to offer you".

There are two more things you have to know before fully understanding what this joke really means.

1.  Your Party was organized by Mr. Yoshimi Watanabe in 2009 that broke up from the Liberal Democratic Party.

2. The ruling party the Democratic Party of Japan now faces a possible break-up due to the internal strife over whether to summon Mr. Ozawa (the former Secretary General of the Party now facing the forced indictment for the crimes related to a land deal carried out by his political fundraising organization ) to House Ethics Committee or not.
