Mr. Sengoku will Resign Over Handling of Senkaku Islands Incident?

There is a growing speculation that Chief Cabinet Secretary Mr. Sengoku will soon have to resign over his handling of Senkaku Island incident which has subsequently contributed to lowering Prime Minister Mr. Kan's support rate. 28% or less is his support rate as reported by TV news.

Mr. Yoshito Sengoku, known for his active participation in communist movements as a leader of student activists in 1960s, has given the general public a strong impression that Democratic Party of Japan is a bunch of traitors willing to sell Japan to China. Since the unconditional release of the Chinese trawler captain obviously lacks strategic thinking in dealing with China, the general public tends to think that members of Democratic Party of Japan are either afraid of or blindly love China.

However, it seems that Democratic Party of Japan is beginning to realize China is not the country they used to dream of.

Some say that the current Administration will not last so long. Soon Japan may have the lower house election. A question is who should be the ruling party of Japan.
